Returns and Refunds
Ensuring that our customers are 100% satisfied is of the utmost importance to The Hobbyman team. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the products you have received, we will happily organise a refund or an exchange for you, so long as the products are returned to us in a saleable condition.

Terms and Conditions - Returns and Exchanges

Making a Return

If you want to return a product to us simply complete the Returns Form and put it with the returning item in an envelope, satchel or box suitable for mail or courier transport. Send it to the following address:

For either method of return, please ensure that you enclose the Returns Form  with all relevant details filled out.

Refunds

The Hobbyman can process a refund by your preferred method, whether you are within Australia or overseas. We will:

credit your credit card or provide a gift voucher which can be redeemed on any future purchase and is valid for 12 months
The amount refunded will depend on the reason for the return. If you have received:
·         a damaged product or the wrong product, we will be happy to refund both the product and delivery costs
·         a product that you no longer wish to purchase, only the product cost can be refunded
Exchanges

To complete an exchange, include the name, variety and cost of the new product you require on the Returns Form . If there is a difference in the price of the products involved in the exchange, please tell us how we should refund or charge you.

Australian Orders.

The Hobbyman reserves to right to upgrade the freight method to a courier service at no extra cost to the recipient. The Hobbyman reserves to right to cancel an order if it deems the freight method is not acceptable to ensure the parcel arrives in acceptable conditions.

Please note that large or heavy items CANNOT be shipped to PO Boxes. We must have a street address for any item/Parcel totalling over 5kg in weight or over 1050mm in length.

Available Freight options.

Australia post -
This is an ordinary Post Service and is not insured and is used at the clients OWN RISK. No Tracking number exists. For insured freight, please select the courier option.

Couriers - We use TNT Express for both Road and Air Courier Deliveries. These services can be insured and have online track and trace systems. We can authorize the couriers to ‘Leave without signature’ by your request, but this invalidates any insurance for ‘Lost’ parcels showing a successful delivery.

International Orders. New Zealand Only
Due to payments using Paypal's Buyer protection scheme, we reserve the right to cancel orders that have airmail as a freight option. Airmail has neither Insurance, Proof of Delivery nor Online tracking as required for the Buyer protection scheme. International Airmail orders over AUD$100 WILL BE CANCELLED immediately without consultation.


Missing or Damaged Shipments
Please be sure to reconcile the number of boxes shipped with the number of boxes received. On occasion carriers may deliver boxes separately. Please note that ground and air shipments are often assigned to separate trucks and may arrive at different times of the day.
Please do not accept boxes with exterior damage. If the box has been delivered without your signature, contact the carrier before opening the package. The carrier will need to inspect the box and verify any damage before refund or replacement can occur.

Liability:
Responsibility
We'll go all out to help you choose the right combination of products for your hobbying needs. And we'll bend over backwards to make sure you're satisfied. But there's a limit to everything. And here's ours:
We cannot accept responsibility for injury and/or crash damage or loss of kits, engines and accessories, parts and materials that occurs during the use of any radio-controlled model. The user shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith.
If you substitute or replace normal kit hardware and/or radio components with after-market accessories, The Hobbyman cannot be held responsible for problems or equipment failure caused by incompatibility or modifications. This includes all other products sold by The Hobbyman.
 
 
General Errors
The Hobbyman makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published on our Web site. However, the documents and graphics published on this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. The Hobbyman makes no representations about the suitability of the information and graphics presented on this site. All such documents and graphics are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Pricing Errors

If an error is made and a product is listed at an incorrect price, The Hobbyman shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If the order has been confirmed and charged to you, The Hobbyman shall immediately issue a credit in the amount of the incorrect price.
